to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration
(BMA) and True Corporation for the opening
of the wireless cyber world through the
launch of Green Bangkok Wi-Fi initiative
that allows more than three million people
in the city to surf with 64 Kbps speed via more than 15,000 hotspots Bangkokwide
free of charge until June 30,
2009.
To
join the campaign, simply register online to receive Username and Password for free
Green Bangkok Wi-Fi account which can
be renewed every three month.
How to get the privilege and How to use the service?
Look for a Wi-Fi by True Move sign or visit www.truewifi.net or call 02-900-9000 ext. 89.
Prepare a Wi-Fi enabled notebook, PDA or mobile phone.
Choose
wireless network (SSID) as "truewifi"
Open
your Internet Explorer, type www.truewifi.net.
You will see details of "Green
Bangkok Wi-Fi" campaign
Click
"Green Bangkok Wi-Fi" button and
you will see Registration button
(for new customer) and Renew button
(for existing customer)
For
new customers, the system will
show the Registration page subject
to the Computer Crime Act (B.E.
2550). Fill in your personal information
with name, surname, ID or passport
number, Email and then create your own Wi-Fi username and password. The first two characters
of username will be initiated by the system with "bk" and you can complete the rest with not more than six characters of English
alphabets and/or numbers only.
You will then see a pop-up window to confirm your selected username and password.
For existing customers, fill in
your existing username and password
for another 3-month renewal.
This username and password can be used to access the Internet with unlimited hours and will expire on 31
March 2009. After that, if you wish to continue using the service, you are required to register online via www.truewifi.net to extend another three-month period and repeat the same process every three month until end of the period specified above.

Terms & Conditions of Green Bangkok Wi-Fi campaign
1.
This privilege is offered to the public with 500,000 Wi-Fi cards to be given away and the said Wi-Fi accounts will expire on June 30, 2009.
2.
This privilege is offered on 1 person per 1 ID or passport number.
3.
Those who receive a Wi-Fi card are able to access wireless Internet with the connection speed of up to 64 kbps for unlimited hours and until end of the period specified in Clause 9.
4.
Session time out is 60 minutes
5.
Idle time is 10 minutes
6.
Wireless Internet service is available for one concurrent user at a time.
7.
Wi-Fi by TrueMove can be used for more than 15,000 hotspots nationwide. You can enquire about coverage area at www.truewifi.net or call 02-900-9000 press 89
8.
Wi-Fi by TrueMove cannot be used at KSC hotspots
9.
Username and password received at first registration using PIN and serial number shown on the Wi-Fi card will expire on 30 September 2008. After that, if you wish to continue using the service, you are required to register online via www.truewifi.net to extend another three-month period and repeat the same process every three month until end of the period as per Clause 1.

This privilege is not redeemable for cash.

This privilege is not applicable together with any other promotion.
12.
True Internet, wireless Internet provider, has the rights to suspend or discontinue this privilege if it considers that there is any dishonest or fraud of document so as to take advantage from this privilege or any illegal act or failure to comply with specified Terms and Conditions.
