Bangkok residents can now enjoy unlimited freedom everywhere they are traveling to. Today you can check traffic via Traffic CCTV, update climate forecast, find out movie session time, make advanced bookings or chat with your circle of friends. Thanks to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and True Corporation for the opening of the wireless cyber world through the launch of Green Bangkok Wi-Fi initiative that allows more than three million people in the city to surf with 64 Kbps wireless Internet via more than 15,000 hotspots Bangkokwide free of charge from today until June 30, 2009.

BMA gives away free Wi-Fi cards

To join the project, simply register and receive Username and Password for free Green Bangkok Wi-Fi account which can be renewed every three month.

Connect to Green Bangkok Wi-Fi


•	Look for a Wi-Fi by TrueMove sign or click here to see Wi-Fi hotspots or call 02 900 9000 press 89
•	Make sure you have a Wi-Fi enabled notebook or mobile phone
•	Connect SSID “truewifi”
•	Open Internet Explorer and you will see the www.truewifi.net page
•	Login with your registered Username and Password
•	You will be able to get unlimited connection to Green Bangkok Wi-Fi up to 60 minutes at a time at the connection speed of 64 Kbps.

Don’t forget to Log Out

•	Click Log Out on the pop-up window of which you logged in

•	Or type http://logout

Terms and Conditions of Green Bangkok Wi-Fi

1.	This privilege is open to all general users until 30 June 2009.
2.	This privilege is offered on a one person per one identification card number or passport number.
3.	Wi-Fi card receivers are able to get unlimited wireless Internet access with the maximum connection speed of 64 Kbps until the date specified under Clause 10.
4.	The default session time out is 60 minutes.
5.	If your session is inactive for 10 minutes, it will be automatically disconnected (Idle time is set to 10 minutes).
6.	The connection is allowed for one concurrent login per user.
7.	Wireless Internet can be connected at any of 15,000 Wi-Fi by TrueMove hotspots nationwide. To find out available locations, visit www.truewifi.net or call 02 900 9000 press 89.
8.	This wireless Internet connection is not available at KSC hotspots.
9.	Upon the maturity of three months, the provided Username and Password must be renewed for further three-month validity and the same process can be repeated until your Wi-Fi account expires according to Clause 1.
10.	This privilege cannot be changed or exchanged for cash.
11.	This privilege cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion.
12.	True Internet, the wireless Internet provider, has the rights to suspend or cancel this privilege if it considers that there is any dishonest act or fraud of document so as to assume this privilege or abuse of this privilege or failure to comply with terms and conditions of this privilege.
