(BMA) and True Corporation for the opening
of the wireless cyber world through the
launch of Green Bangkok Wi-Fi initiative
that allows more than three million people
in the city to surf with 64 Kbps or 1 Mbps speed via more than 20,000 hotspots Bangkokwide
free of charge until June 24,
2011.
To
join the campaign, simply register online to receive Username and Password for free
Green Bangkok Wi-Fi account which can
be renewed every three month.
Privilege and usage
•
1 eligible entry/1 person/1 Wi-Fi connector (Ex. 1 mobile phone/1 account: the registered mobile phone cannot repeat registration.)
•
Those who have registered during the period from 22 August 2010 are entitled to hold the registered Username and Password until 30 September 2010. Then, a “new registration” is required by following the “How to register” instructions on the next subject.
•
The followings are available packages:
•
Package 1 64 kbps speed with unlimited access hours
•
Package 2 1 Mbps speed with one hour per month access (regardless of time of registration, usage concludes at the end of the month.)
•
After first registration, you may access Green Bangkok Wi-Fi until 30 September 2010.
•
As from the 1st October 2010, if you wish to continue to access Green Bangkok Wi-Fi but want to change package, you are required to select “new registration” (reset Username and Password) or if you want to use the existing package, then select “renewal” (use the existing Username and Password) and your Username and Password will be valid for another 3 months.
•
Once you select “new registration”, you may change your package.
•
You may select “new registration” or “renewal” after end of each cycle until termination of Green Bangkok Wi-Fi service (24 June 2011.)
•
Importantly! To avoid account cancellation, please renew your account within 15 days before end of each quarter. Otherwise, you will have to make a new registration.
How to register for FREE Wi-Fi access

Look for a Wi-Fi by TrueMove signor clickhere to see Wi-Fi hotspots or call 1686

Make sure you have a Wi-Fi enabled notebook, PDA or mobile phone.

Connect SSID “truewifi”
•
Click

Select a speed you prefer

Then, complete the registration form
Set up Username for each package
64 Kbps
Username starts with bk and you can enter another 6 characters (comprising small English letters, numbers and “_”)
1 Mbps
Username starts with sbk and you can enter another 5 characters (comprising small English letters, numbers and “_”)

Then, you will see a confirmation window of your Username and Password.

Terms & Conditions of Green Bangkok Wi-Fi campaign (Year 2)
1.
Limit one privilege/ one person/ one connection device (i.e. notebook computer)
64 Kbps for unlimited usage 70,000 accounts per quarter. Quarterly renew after expire. Service start from August 2, 2010 to June 24, 2011. Total of 280,000 accounts
1 Mbps for one hour per month 30,000 accounts per quarter. Quarterly renew after expire. Service start from August 2, 2010 to June 24, 2011. Total of 120,000 accounts
2.
This privilege offered only 1 person per 1 ID or passport number
3.
You are not allowed to change package after complete registration. Change package is permitted after the end of each quarter.
4.
Session time out is 60 minutes
5.
Idle time is 10 minutes
6.
Wi-Fi by TrueMove can be used for 1 user at the time of accessing internet
7.
Wi-Fi by TrueMove can be used for more than 20,000 hotspots nationwide. You can enquire about coverage area at www.truewifi.net or call 1686
8.
Wi-Fi by TrueMove cannot be used at KSC hotspots
9.
The first registration will expire on 30 September 2010, after this period, if you wish to continue using Wi-Fi you must register online at www.truewifi.net. After the 3-month extensions period, you have to register via online for another 3-month period usage repeat such online register until your Wi-Fi account expires according to no.1
10.
This privilege is not redeemable for cash

This privilege is not applicable together with other promotions
12.
True Internet (Service Provider) has the right to suspend or terminate the Service immediately if you act in bad faith or forge document relating to this privilege or use the Internet illegally or do not comply with any terms or conditions simulated herein
